Four generations of leather, one family workshop.

Our story began at the end of the 19th century, when Georgios Kortsidakis supplied leather to the makers of Cretan stivania boots. In 1975 his grandson Georgios taught himself to make bags, and every Kortsidakis bag has been cut, stitched and finished by hand ever since.

Today he works alongside his sons, Michalis and Marios. We choose every hide ourselves and make in small batches, so each bag carries its own grain and character.

Woly Wax for leather

The wax we use and recommend for all our bags. A little Woly Dubbin now and then cleans the leather, brings back its shine, buffs out small scratches and keeps it soft and protected for years.

🧴 How to use it

  • Put a little wax on a soft cloth, such as our cleaning cloth
  • Work it into the leather in small circles
  • Let it absorb, then buff with a clean part of the cloth

Try it first on a small, hidden spot: wax can darken some leathers slightly, especially nubuck.
