Our workshop · Crete
Four generations of leather, one family workshop.
Our story began at the end of the 19th century, when Georgios Kortsidakis supplied leather to the makers of Cretan stivania boots. In 1975 his grandson Georgios taught himself to make bags, and every Kortsidakis bag has been cut, stitched and finished by hand ever since.
Today he works alongside his sons, Michalis and Marios. We choose every hide ourselves and make in small batches, so each bag carries its own grain and character.

Care
It only gets better with age.
Full-grain leather darkens and softens with every trip. Use the included Woly Wax and cloth now and then, and it will stay soft, strong and stylish for decades. Small scratches buff out naturally and become part of its character.

Which size should I choose?
Small (36 × 12 × 25 cm) takes a tablet, A4 documents and your everyday essentials. Medium (41 × 12 × 30 cm) fits a laptop and your work day, and Large (41 × 12 × 32 cm) a laptop with a little more room.
What is the difference between smooth leather and nubuck?
Smooth leather develops a warm patina over time. Nubuck is lightly buffed for a soft, velvety, matte feel.
Can I wear it across the body?
Yes. The two-piece leather strap adjusts, so you can wear it across the body or on one shoulder.
What about shipping?
Shipping is free within Greece on orders over €75 and across the EU on orders over €150, and we deliver worldwide.
Can I get any colour in any size?
Yes. Every colour is handcrafted in every size. The photos show the colour; the size only changes the dimensions.
